During the beginning of the pandemic, I started making fan video projects. These videos help bring fans across the world together to create something special for the people they love. I think it's important to understand the power that fandoms have. Fandoms are like families, they bring so many people together and make them feel included in something, something much bigger than themselves. These people that are in fandoms have so much love and respect towards one another, just because they know they have at least one thing in common. They connect people from all across the world and because of that these fans make new friends, learn about other cultures, and are reminded that no matter where they are or how alone they feel, they aren't alone. It's something so special that we could all learn from. As a journalist and a fangirl, I want to showcase the power and beauty that fandoms have. One of the ways I showcase that is these videos.
